MEMBERSHIP
Lighting Council New Zealand’s membership is made up of large international, to smaller NZ owned and operated, companies–but all operating within New Zealand. They manufacture, import and/or distribute lighting. Lighting Council New Zealand takes seriously each members’ level of compliance, keeping each informed of any updates to standards that affect producing, purchasing or selling in New Zealand.
In addition, members receive regular updates on all Industry related matters; can attend up to four Lighting Council New Zealand General Meetings across the
year; as well as attend Lighting Council New Zealand’s Annual General Meeting. Importantly, members can contact Lighting Council New Zealand for technical
and standards advice as required, and have their say on technical, standards, or lobbying issues as relevant.
All potential members must apply to become a member and be approved by Lighting Council New Zealand’s Board, and full members will be assessed after a rigorous viewing of procedures to ensure compliance.
FULL MEMBERSHIP
Full Membership of LCNZ is for companies who are manufacturers or direct importers of lighting products.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Associate Membership of LCNZ is for companies that are involved in lighting in some way. For example:
• Controls suppliers
• Component suppliers
• Software suppliers
• Lighting wholesale and retail
• Electrical contractors
• Building contractors
• Building designers
• Lighting designers
• Commissioning services
• Training services
